Data protection

Please note carefully that by signing the Gateways to Learning enrolment form you are giving explicit consent for the data collected about you to be recorded and used for the purposes below. The data collected will be held and processed in accordance with all current data protection legislation.

The information about you will be held on an electronic database, which may be shared with the Gateways to Learning partner libraries to enable you to access the services and resources provided by the project. The enrolment form will be stored securely and confidentially by the project team.

The data will be processed by the Gateways to Learning project team and released, in a form that does not allow the learner to be identified, to the Welsh European Funding Office for European Social Fund monitoring purposes. Information derived from the data may be published but your names will not be included in any statistical analysis or other publication. Precautions are taken to minimise the risk that you will be able to be identified from the data. Users of the data will not be able to use the data to contact you.

The project team may write to you or email you occasionally in connection with the project. Your personal details will not be passed to any third parties, other than the Gateways to Learning partner libraries, without your prior permission.
